Who Can Fly
All flights are purchase as gift certificates
All gift certificates are refundable, with a 10 % service fee up to 10 days from purchase. If you schedule your gift certificate, and the flight is postponed due to unsafe weather conditions, unlimited re-scheduling is available till you get to fly. Absolutely no refund at any time after booking a flight, no exceptions. Gift certificates are transferrable and are good for the price paid. Upcharges could be added if not used for more than 2 seasons from purchase. 4 days’ notice is required for cancelations, less than that and no shows your flight is considered taken and re-scheduling is not available.

From Philadelphia:
Take I-76 West to Rt 202. Follow signs to West Chester Rt 202 S. Continue on Rt 202 S until you reach the Rt 401/Frazer Exit. Stay to the right and you will be traveling on Rt 401 W. Continue on Rt 401 W for about 8 miles until you reach Rt 100. Cross over Rt 100. Ludwig's is immediately on your left.
From Wilmington:
Take Rt 202 N until the Rt 401 exit. Take the first left on the ramp to Rt 401 W. Continue on Rt 401 W for about 8 miles until you reach Rt 100. Cross over Rt 100. Ludwig's is immediately on your left.
From South Jersey:
Take the Commodore Barry Bridge to Rt 322 E. Continue on Rt 322 E to Rt 1 S. Take Rt 202 N until the Rt 401 Exit. Take the first left on the ramp to Rt 401 W. Continue on Rt 401 W for about 8 miles until you reach Rt 100. Cross over Rt 100. Ludwig's in immediately on your left.
Please park in the parking lot except in front of the cigar shop. The launch field is directly south of the parking lot.
Launch Times and Sites
We fly, weather permitting, seven days a week, year round. Our launch times are at sunrise and approximately two hours before sunset, as these times offer the most ideal weather conditions for ballooning.
Depending on whether you have scheduled a sunrise or sunset flight, you will be advised of actual launch times when you schedule your reservation.
Our launch site is located near Marsh Creek Park in Glenmore, Pa. We have specifically chosen our launch site for Chester County's beautiful rolling hills and streams, large lakes and farmlands as well as large historic estates. We currently take off from the Ludwig's Inn launch site.

Insurance Release
Air Ventures Hot Air Balloon Rides, Inc. Release
Hot air ballooning is a dangerous activity entailing a variety of risks. These risks include the possible loss or damage of personal property, cameras, sunglasses, glasses and the like, arrest for trespassing or other violations, injury or fatality due to capsize of the balloon basket, collisions with the ground or other obstacles on the ground or in the air, injuries or aggravation of injuries caused by hard landings or in getting in or out of the basket and weather related accidents. As a condition to its agreement to provide a hot air balloon flight, Air Ventures Balloon Flights, Inc. owners and operators of the balloon requires its passengers to acknowledge these risks and assume them.
Therefore each person ("passenger") signing this release acknowledges the above and other risks inherent in hot air ballooning. Each passenger assumes these risks and hereby agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless Air Ventures Balloon Flights, Inc. and its principals, directors, officers, employees from and against any claims, actions, losses, liability damage and expenses (including attorneys fees) that may arise in connection with passenger boarding, flight landing, entering/disembarking or other use of the hot air balloon, personal injury, property damage stemming therefrom whether or not caused or partly caused by Air Ventures Balloon Flights, Inc. or its principals, officers, directors or employees. The below passenger has signed this release intending to bind his/herself and his/her heirs, representatives and assigns.
